Doubt that you are the father? Do you need to get absolute answers today? International Biosciences is a leading online, based DNA testing company offering paternity testing services with only the samples of alleged father and child, with the option of testing the mother if her sample is available.

Results are ready in just 3-5 working days. Our home paternity testing is the most accurate and scientific means you have to obtain the answers you need in the comfort of your own home.

We do not offer express testing if you choose to send a discreet sample. We can offer express testing only if you use mouth swabs.

Including The Mother

Home paternity testing with the mother’s sample provides results that are in excess of 99.99% accurate in cases where the tested, alleged father is the biological father. On the other hand, if the mother’s sample is not included, the results will show a probability of paternity in excess of 99.9%. Our home paternity test with samples of the alleged father, mother and child is offered at only £99.

Why Choose Us?

• Samples analysed in a state-of-the-art ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
• Results of a paternity test are in excess of 99.9% accurate leaving no doubt
• Our test can be carried out even without the mother’s sample
• Our result is based on the analysis of 21 genetic markers
• Quick results which are made available to you within 4 days from receipt of samples

International Biosciences can provide paternity testing in Glasgow, Leeds, Kent, Liverpool, Manchester, London or anywhere in the UK or even outside the UK where required.

Science Behind the Home Paternity Test

Once we extract a 21 genetic marker profile from the samples of the tested individuals, we proceed to compare the profiles. If we see that all genetic markers on the profile of the alleged father and the child are identical and match at every point, we can confirm that the tested father is the biological father of the child. If genetic markers do not match, then the tested father is not the biological father of the child.

Collecting DNA Samples

Easy, straightforward, discreet and quick – sample collection with our home paternity testing kit is very simple. We send out a kit (in discreet packaging) following receipt of payment and inside your kit you will have all you need to collect the DNA samples:

• 4 sterile mouth swabs per test participant
• Instructions
• Consent forms
• Pre-addressed return envelope

You can read more about sample collection for home paternity testing by clicking here.

Note: We can only guarantee standard result turnaround time when testing takes place solely using oral swab samples. Using a discreet sample for your test may lead to an increase in turnaround time.

Important: The Human Tissue Act

It is important to be aware that in the UK the Human Tissue Act regulates the collection and analysis of any human tissue. In order to send a sample for analysis, the person or donor of that sample must give their consent in writing in order for us to test their sample. Furthermore, in order to be fully compliant with the Human Tissue Act, the donor of the sample must also be made aware of how their DNA sample will be used. Failure to comply with the Human Tissue Act is a criminal offence.

We will not proceed with any testing if we do not have consent from all test participants. Testing any samples will be put on hold until we get the required signatures from all individuals.

What will my results show me?

Our home paternity test provides you with a clear-cut, definitive answer even without the mother’s DNA sample; the results will prove whether the alleged father is conclusively the father or conclusively not the father. Our paternity test provides you with a clear-cut, definitive answer even without the mother’s DNA sample; the results will prove whether the alleged father is conclusively the father or conclusively not the father. If we tested alleged father and child and the tested father is the biological father, the results will show a probability of paternity of 99.9%. If he is not the father, the results will show a probability of 0%.

Do I need to include the mother?

DNA paternity testing will provide in excess of 99.999% probability of paternity in an inclusion result (meaning the tested, alleged father is the biological father) when the mother’s sample is not included in the test. We, at International Biosciences, carry out most of our paternity testing without the mother’s sample but we always recommend including the mother’s sample when she is available for the test. This is because in rare cases, paternity testing without the mother’s sample can lead to an inconclusive result which can only be concluded by having the mother’s sample. There is no extra charge for including the mother’s sample.

What about pricing and turnaround time?

Our home paternity test for testing alleged father starts from just £99 – this is an all-inclusive price and there are no hidden fees. The only fee you need to cover is the cost for posting your samples back to us. Results are ready in 3 to 5 working days from when we get your samples.

Note: We can only guarantee standard result turnaround time when testing takes place solely using oral swab samples. Using a discreet sample for your test may lead to an increase in turnaround time.
